DAY 1-6

Mount Kilimanjaro Trekking: Machame Route

In these 6 days, you will climb and descend Mount Kilimanjaro on Machame route. 

Machame Route is the most scenic route on the mountain; it offers climbers with an opportunity to see incredible views and varying landscapes from the mountain.  Though very scenic, this route is not easy; climbers have to go through steep ascents, especially on the day that they have to ascend the Barranco Wall. Machame route is nicknamed “the whiskey route”; indicating that it is a challenging climb compared to simpler routes like Marangu which is nicknamed “the Coca-cola” or “tourist” route. Although it is a difficult climb, Machame has one of the highest climber success rates on Kilimanjaro. 

On the final descent day, our guide will drive you from the mountain gate to your hotel for a day of relaxation and celebration of your achievement (arrangements for kikuletwa hot water spring are available for swimming as part of your relaxation).

DAY 7

Moshi Cultural Tour or altenative at Osiligilai Maasai Lodge with Overnight at the Lodge.(Maasai Boma)

After breakfast starts a drive to Marangu Water falls to see Chagga Historical Caves, on the way you will visit a  Chagga village where you will experience and immerse yourself in the Chagga way of life. You will see and participate in traditional dances, learn about herbal medicines and Chagga history and ways of life; you will also learn about Chagga foods and wearing style.

Altenative is Osiligilai Maasai Lodge(Maasai Boma).

After breakfast starts a drive to Boma Village where you will get the crossing raod to Sanya Juu (Osiligilai Maasai Lodge Located) to see Maasai activities, on the way you will visit a  Maasai village where you will experience and immerse yourself in the Maasai way of life. You will see and participate in traditional dances, Spear competition, learn about herbal medicines and Maasai history and ways of life; you will also learn about Maasai weaving and jewellery. You will have the opportunity to support the Maasai people by purchasing their handmade crafts and jewellery.learn about herbal medicines and Chagga history and ways of life; you will also learn about Chagga foods and wearing style.

DAY 8

Osiligilai Maasai Lodge - Lake Manyara National Park

Our safari guide will drive you from your hotel in Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park for a full day of game viewing. Lake Manyara offers sights of predators, big game, and birds all within a single park. You will see buffaloes, wildebeests, elephants, giraffes, zebras, impalas, baboons, hippos, and lions; if lucky, you may also see leopards. Another attraction within the park is an extensive soda lake that attracts resident and migratory birds such as the pink-hued flamingos and many other water birds.

DAY 9

At your Hotel at Karatu - Serengeti (via Oldvai Gorge)

The drive today leads to the Serengeti plains via Olduvai Gorge. At Olduvai, you will see fossilized human remains that date back millions of years. The Serengeti is the most visited park in Tanzania due to its grandeur and diversity that offers incredible wildlife sightings, beautiful land formations, and unforgettable sunsets. 

You will arrive in the endless plains around noon ready for a picnic lunch. After lunch, you will head out for an afternoon of wildlife viewing, Overnight at SERENGETI ACACIA CAMP SERENGETI ACACIA CAMP 

DAY 10

Serengeti National Park (full day)

You will go out for a morning game drive, during which our guide will drive to poplar predator hotspots to give you the best chance to see predators in action before the African sun starts beating down on the plains. 

You will see the great herds as they move across the plains following ancient paths. Where the herds go, the predators also go, so you will see Africa’s top predators following closely in hope of a quick and easy meal. You will see leopards, lions, hyenas, giraffes, cheetahs, elephants, hippos, and of course the great herds of wildebeests and zebras. Today lunch will be served in the wild on a plated service,Overnight at SERENGETI ACACIA CAMP 

DAY 12

SERENGETI – NGORONGORO - ARUSHA

On this day, you will head out to Ngorongoro Crater; a place unlike other in Africa. Ngorongoro has one of the highest concentrations of wild animals in Africa; here, it is guaranteed that you will see all of the big five within a few hours. It is no wonder this place has been referred to as the eighth wonder of the world due to its uniqueness and concentration of wild animals.

You will see lions, elephants, hyenas, zebras, leopards, buffaloes, jackals, the rarely see black rhinos, cheetahs, and many other interesting animals.
