On these 9 Days Cultural And Safari Adventure Tanzania, you will experience a classic northern Tanzania safari and get the chance to experience and immerse yourself in Tanzania’s well-preserved cultures – the Maasai, Datoga, and Hadzabe bushmen. You will visit Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Eyasi, and the Serengeti National Park.
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, our guide will transfer you to a hotel in Arusha for dinner and overnight accommodation.

Today you will head out to a Maasai village where you will experience the Maasai way of life up-close. You will see and participate in traditional dances, learn about herbal medicines, and also make beads, and jewelry. You will have the opportunity to support the Maasai people by purchasing their handmade crafts and jewelry.

Our guide will drive you to Lake Manyara for a full day of wildlife viewing. Lake Manyara is dominated by a beautiful soda lake that hosts migratory and resident water birds. The lake occupies about two thirds of the park; the other one third is mostly made up of acacia forests that are home to giraffes, elephants, buffalos, zebras, wildebeests, impalas, warthogs, gazelles and resident lions. Leopards and cheetahs can also be seen with the park.
In the evening, our guide will drive you towards the west of the park from where you will see the rift valley walls on the horizon forming a spectacular backdrop to the lake.

After breakfast, we will drive you to Lake Eyasi; here a breathtaking cultural experience awaits you. You will spend time with the Hadzabe bushmen, a people group that still lives following ancient traditions and ways of life just like their ancestors did thousands of years ago. The Hadza are a kind people; they will happily welcome you and show you how they hunt and where they live.
Today you will also pay the Dagota people a visit; their culture very closely resembles that of the Maasai people. To supplement their pastoral life, the Dagota are skilled blacksmiths; they forge knives and arrows which they trade with their neighbors, the Hadza bushmen.

Our guide will drive you to Ngorongoro Crater for a day of game viewing inside the world’s largest unflooded caldera. The Ngorongoro Crater covers an area of 300 square kilometers and is 600m deep.
The crater offers the best chance of seeing all of the big five in Tanzania. Within a few hours of entering the crater floor, you will see the big five, waterbucks, elands, bushbucks, Grant’s gazelles, Thompson gazelles, hyenas, cheetahs, and a variety of bird species.

Our guide will drive you to the Serengeti plains via Olduvai Gorge. At Olduvai, you will see fossilized human remains dating back millions of years.
The Serengeti is Tanzania’s most visited park and rightfully so because it offers incredible wildlife sightings, beautiful land formations, and unforgettable sunsets. The park is also best known for the great migration of wildebeest and zebras; this migration has been called the greatest show on the planet.
Where the herds go, the predators also go, so you will see Africa’s top predators following closely in hope of a quick and easy meal. You will see lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, and wild dogs as they follow the herds.

You will head out into the endless plains for a full day of wildlife viewing. You will go out for a morning game drive, during which you will see predators before they hide in the thickets as the African sun begins to burn down on the plains.
You will observe big game and predators in action. You will see the great herds as they move across the plains following ancient paths and the predators that constantly follow them hoping to catch an easy meal. Today you will see leopards, lions, hyenas, giraffes, cheetahs, elephants, hippos, and of course the great herds of wildebeests and zebras.

Today you will depart from your lodge earlier than usual for a balloon ride across the plains of Serengeti which is optional, and later after breakfast you can choose to stay back at your lodge or proceed with the game drive. Unless you have chosen a balloon safari experience, proceed with a typical day on safari in these plains, enjoying every moment of encounter resident mammals are included giraffes, buffaloes, impalas, Thompson’s gazelles, bushbucks, leopards, lions, spotted hyenas before retreating to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Today you will drive from the Serengeti to Arusha; however, before leaving the Serengeti, you will enjoy one last game drive as you head out of the great plains.
You will arrive in Arusha in the afternoon, and from here, depending on your schedule, you will either catch your flight back home, catch your flight to other attractions in Tanzania, or drive to your hotel for dinner and overnight accommodation.Thanks for booking with us.
